Challenge

This project consists in the creation of a web portal for all employees, with the objective of digitizing the evaluation processes, objectives and results of the teams of several companies of the group.

Since it was a software for the DESFO GROUP, the database had to be created from scratch and the data integration carried out by importing excel files, in order to avoid access to the databases of the different companies.

Also, have to be different accesses depending on the types of users: employees, supervisors and human resources managers. Where each "role" has access to different menus and features.

The software should also send periodic emails with alerts to employees and their managers.

Solution

Since the objectives and results depend on the evaluation scores, the first module to be conceived and developed was the Evaluations module. For this, a form configuration panel was initially prepared, where the platform managers can add evaluation blocks, composed of: titles, description and answer options - which can be through select boxes, checkboxes or free text fields.

The evaluation process is divided into 3 phases: self-assessment, evaluation and feedback. After submission of each evaluation process, the final grade is automatically calculated.

The evaluation form presented to employees is based on the position/department of each employee.

After this phase is concluded, the objectives are loaded (through the developed import module) and the results are periodically calculated by the software.

Interfaces and dashboards were also developed for employees and managers, where they can view the evaluations and results of objectives in real time (managers can see the data of all their employees).
